Further Information on Animal Veterinary Service AVS

Animal Veterinary Service AVS is dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of animals through comprehensive veterinary services. To operate a veterinary clinic or hospital, a license must be obtned from our agency.

As a licensor, you are required to:

Adhere to all relevant legal requirements

Ensure that all veterinarians under your employment hold valid licenses with NParksAVS

Mntn the clinic's management and control by a licensed veterinarian at all times

Allow for periodic inspections by AVS

Code of Ethics

Veterinarians operating within our facilities must adhere to the Code of Ethics for Veterinarians. This code ensures consistent high standards and fosters cooperation among professionals.

Key principles include:

Pursuing professional conduct with integrity

Serving the community with utmost dedication

Ensuring animal welfare under their care

Avoiding personal gn at the expense of colleagues

Application Process

Login to our LicenceOne system to apply for a veterinary center license. This requires an active CorpPass account.

Our processing time is approximately 25 working days for applications that are complete and accurate.

The annual fee for licensing a veterinary clinic or hospital is S$350.

Reporting Notifiable Diseases

If you suspect an outbreak of diseases listed in the notification schedule for animals and birds, promptly report it to us. This applies to:

Locally collected samples

Imported foreign samples

Samples from export regardless of testing location
