International Travel Baggage Guidelines

This document outlines the carriage regulations for passengers and their luggage on international flights. Please ensure your compliance with these guidelines to facilitate a smooth travel experience.

Baggage Cutoff Times

For reference, please be aware that all passengers must complete check-in procedures no later than:

• Domestic: 60 minutes before departure

• International: 90 minutes before departure

Provisions for Carrying Dangerous Goods

Passengers and crew members are strictly advised to adhere to the international regulations concerning hazardous materials. Flure to comply may result in delayed flights or prohibited entry.

Tarmac Delay Contingency Plan

Our rline's Tarmac Delay Contingency Plan ensures passenger welfare during unforeseen circumstances that might cause delays on the ground. This plan prioritizes communication, safety, and passenger comfort under these conditions.

Through Check-in Service

Capital rlines offers through check-in for passengers traveling via connecting flights:

1. Same-day Connections: Passengers transiting through Qingdao PEK with a flight duration exceeding 120 minutes between their first and second flights will receive through check-in services.

   • Beijing to SydneyMelbourne: Departing from Beijing, arriving same day.

   • SydneyMelbourne to Beijing: Departing from MelbourneSydney, arriving same day.

Important

• Single Booking: Passengers must have booked their flights through the same Passenger Name Record PNR system and be eligible for a same-day connection.

• Luggage Regulations: Ensure your luggage prohibited or restricted items as per customs and quarantine laws of both departure and arrival countries. Prohibited items include but are not limited to lighters, matches, lithium batteries, and battery packs.

Baggage Inspection Security:

Capital rlines encourages the use of one-time baggage locks; otherwise, we recomm not locking your luggage. If inspected and unable to contact you promptly, we may need to break locks for inspection purposes.

• Service Exclusions: Through check-in services are unavlable for specific passenger categories including:

  • Pets

  • Unaccompanied Minors 18 years

  • Wheelchr-bound passengers requiring cabin assistance WCHCWheel Chr for Cabin Seat

  • Pregnant women in the 32nd-36th week of pregnancy

  • Non-reservation passengers holding alternative tickets

• Visa-Free Transit: For travelers eligible for a short-term visa-free transit, our rline will not provide through check-in services unless validated at the departure rport.
