Founded by Dr. Gaoming Dong, a veterinarian from the School of veterinary medicine at Huazhong Agricultural University, Meridian Veterinary Hospital is the predecessor of Wuhan Royal Animal Clinic and Wuhan Royal Veterinary Hospital. The current entity mntns seven branches in Wuhan, serving as a comprehensive pet healthcare service chn that integrates medical care, beauty, sales, etc.

Our hospital boasts specialized rooms such as diagnostics, radiology, ultrasound, laboratory, surgery, intensive care, isolation, and vaccination areas, all designed for optimal functionality. We are equipped to handle routine procedures like orthopedics, soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, dentistry, etc., including advanced techniques like blood purification.

To provide robust diagnostic support, we have installed a range of cutting-edge equipment including blood purification s, five-part blood cell analyzers from IDEXX in the USA, animal-specific biochemical analyzers, blood gas analyzers by Abbott in the USA, blood cell analyzers by FUSION from Japan, biochemical analyzers by Fuji in Japan, veterinary specific biochemical analyzers by ABIES in Italy, ultrasound equipment for small animals, and other medical systems that enhance diagnosis capabilities.

Professional Development:

Recognizing the importance of skill enhancement, we participate in modern apprenticeship programs at Huazhong University of Science and Technology's College of Biological Sciences. We also cooperate with universities such as Central South University, Yichang Three Gorges Vocational College, Wuhan Agricultural College, serving as a practical trning ground for hundreds of students annually.

Research Engagement:

We are involved in significant research projects like the COVID-19 Tracking and Environmental Risk Assessment Grant Number: 2020YFC0845600 funded by China's National Science and Technology Ministry. This project saw our team contributing to sample collection for related experiments, with subsequent publications of three relevant SCI papers. We also collaborate on cat-specific clinical trials in veterinary medicine with the Chinese Society of Veterinary Medicine Chinese Association of Veterinary Medicine, as the sole partner institution within Central China.
