As part of the expansive Veterinary Medical Complex, we are proud to introduce our state-of-the-art Advanced Veterinary Surgery Center. This facility is a testament to your generosity and represents a significant step forward in veterinary medicine.
With an increased capacity to help more animals than ever before, our Advanced Surgery Center has already filled critical care gaps and enabled us to improve the lives of countless patients. Here are some remarkable success stories:
Bear's Recovery
A patient suffering from a torn cranial cruciate ligament CCL, akin to s' ACL, Bear was given a second chance at an active lifestyle.
Maddy's Relief
Diagnosed with difficulty in mobility due to a malformed hip resulting from an untreated fracture early on, Maddy now enjoys the freedom of movement she once lacked.
Dexter's Transformation
Facing complications post-suboptimal femoral head ostectomy FHO, Dexter required total hip replacement surgery for pn relief and improved quality of life.
Facility Detls
The Advanced Surgery Center boasts a 7,300-square-foot space that features:
Central Workspace: A collaborative hub where surgical planning occurs, equipped to provide visual access to patients undergoing anesthesia induction and recovery.
Patient Consult Room: A private area for in-depth discussions between veterinarians and pet owners on medical histories, diagnosis, treatment options, client education, and viewing of X-rays.
Exam Room: Larger than traditional spaces, it offers ample room for flexible orthopedic examinations. This is equipped with necessary equipment to ensure thorough evaluations while mntning patient comfort.
Treatment Room: A space for executing essential medical procedures such as bandage changes, adjustments in external fixators, and wound care.
Induction Room: Equipped with state-of-the-art monitoring devices and tools required for anesthesia induction, preparing patients for surgical operations in a sterile environment.
Post-Anesthesia Recovery Area: Designed for quiet monitoring of patients after surgery to ensure their safety during the critical postoperative period.
Operating Rooms: Three fully equipped spaces dedicated to performing complex orthopedic surgeries under strict sterile conditions and advanced imaging technology.
