Established in 1955 as a general practice with the goal of providing high-quality care for pets, Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital merged with Denver Veterinary Specialists in 1994 to enhance its capabilities further. In 2016, we became part of Ethos Veterinary Health, expanding our resources and commitment to excellence.
Since then, we've mntned accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association AAHA since 1963 for general practice and were among the first hospitals in the U.S. to be accredited under referral standards in 2008.
Our most recent expansion includes the opening of our Wash Park location in Denver and plans are underway for an additional emergency care facility at Lowry, scheduled to open soon.
