The Wilford and Kate Bley Small Animal Teaching Hospital is a leading institution in the care of companion animals while also providing advanced veterinary education to future veterinarians. Wilford and Cratus Kate Bley, this state-of-the-art hospital spans 208,000 square feet and is among the largest and most technologically advanced facilities for both medical care and education across the United States.

Dr. Wilford Bley, a distinguished graduate from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1942, dedicated his life to academic and administrative service at Auburn over five decades, culminating in serving as its 13th president. The Bleys were known for their unwavering standards of personal and professional conduct, and the hospital bears their names as a testament to their philanthropy, humility, and kindness.

Every year, this teaching and referral center provides comprehensive care to more than 13,000 companion animal patients through primary patient care services.
